Meet the Founders

Meet the people behind your next step.

Established in 2013, The Accelerator brings together education guidance and practical preparation. Bhupendra Gurung and Pragya Satpathy bring personal experience and a shared commitment to helping students make informed education and career choices.

Mr. Bhupendra Gurung

Co-Founder & CEO, The Accelerator

An academically gifted Aeronautical Engineer, Mr. Bhupendra Gurung realised that even high-performing students can feel lost without the right career guidance. From Holy Cross School to graduating in Jaipur, he experienced first-hand the pressure of navigating life decisions without clarity.

“As students your first team are your parents. Goals can be personal, but journey is not. Let your values act as your compass, let your fuel be your focus.”

Advocate Pragya Satpathy

Co-Founder & Chairperson, The Accelerator

Driven by a deep commitment to transforming education and empowering learners across diverse backgrounds, Ms. Pragya Satpathy left her central government role to help bridge the gap between traditional education and the evolving needs of students and educators.

Through collaborative programmes, expert guidance and community-driven initiatives, she aims to inspire confident, skilled and future-ready individuals.

“At the heart of it all is a passion for creating change, one student, one opportunity, and one success story at a time.”
